My Client-First Philosophy
There are many qualities and skills that go into being an excellent real estate professional - integrity, in-depth community and market knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills and a high-quality professional network, all of which are hallmarks of how I work.
That said, in my experience as a real estate professional, I've also found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. This means keeping myself accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to your needs.
This "client first" philosophy has always been my approach and it requires me to continually improve my skills and ways of doing business. In addition, I've found that the latest technologies are enabling me to do everything I've always done, only much more quickly and efficiently. They've also helped me to extend the range of services I provide to my clients.
So when you decide that you'd like to buy or sell a home or if you just need some further information, please contact me.

PERSONAL HISTORY...
I was born in Ventura, CA, in 1976. My father was, and is, a truck driver. He and my mother had a daughter, my sister Danielle, in 1979. My father, my sister, and I moved to Beloit, WI when I was 5 years old. I grew up in Beloit, until I was 16 years of age.
I moved to Olympia, WA in 1993, the beginning of my Junior Year of high school. I lived with my grandparents and a friend until I left for the U.S. Navy, 11 days after graduation. I went to Great Lakes, IL for boot camp and graduated as an honor recruit in September of 1995. I then went to Fort Leonardwood, MO, for my 'A' School, to learn how to be a Heavy Equipment Operator in the SeaBees. 'A' School lasted until February of 1996, when I left for Adak, AK.
Adak is a little itty bitty tiny island at the end of the Aleutian Chain, in Alaska. It's actually closer to Siberia than mainland Alaska. I was on Adak for the better part of two years. I worked in the galley, at the crash house, and at the air terminal. While on Adak, I got to witness 42 earthquakes on June 6th & 7th of 1996, ranging from 4.2 to 7.7. I received my orders to report to NMCB 40 at the end of 1997.
NMCB 40 is home ported in Port Hueneme, CA. Port Hueneme is right next to Ventura, where I was born and Oxnard, where my sister was born. My father had actually gotten out of the Navy in Port Hueneme. He was a Utilitiesman in the SeaBees, in the 70's. Needless to say, I was excited about returning to where I was born. I joined the battalion just prior to it's Guam deployment.
Guam was my favorite destination, by far. I spent seven months in Guam. While there, we were an essential part of the recovery efforts after Korean Airlines Flight 801 crashed into Nimitz Hill on the 6th of August, 1997. We were also vital in the securing of important facilities & cleanup in the aftermath of Super Typhoon Paka, which hit the island on December 16th, 1997. Paka had sustained winds of 160-195 mph and gusts up to 236 mph. Paka is the strongest typhoon ever recorded on the face of the Earth. I left Guam in March of 1998 & returned to Port Hueneme. We were in home port until September of 1998, when we deployed to Rota, Spain.
Rota, Spain was a blast. It was very different from the United States. Being my first time to experience a different culture, I was probably more in awe during those seven months. I don't remember alot about Spain. I do remember partying outside of the Bull Fighting Stadiums and, also, La Feria. I spent alot of my time there in the gym, either playing basketball or lifting weights. We returned to Port Hueneme in March of 1999. I was discharged from the Navy in November of 1999. I returned to Olympia.
Once back in Olympia, I didn't really know what I wanted to do. I worked as an electrician for about 6 months and then went to work at Home Depot. I had a baby, my son Dylan, on the way, so I needed something that was going to pay a little bit better than what I was making at Home Depot. I took a card dealing class and got my gaming license. I dealt cards, at various casinos around Puget Sound, for about 6 years. That was enough for me. Now I assist people in Buying and Selling Real Estate, which I truly enjoy!
Upon meeting, and eventually marrying, my wife Reth, we decided to make our home in DuPont. We currently reside there with our three children.
Thank You for the Opportunity!

IN THE COMMUNITY...
I believe that being involved with the local community, or in my case, communities is VERY important. I feel that it's my responsibility as a local professional, as a local citizen, and maybe most importantly, as a parent, a husband, and a friend. Insuring that my family, my friends, and my clients have a positive place to live, and thrive, is what motivates me. Some of the functions I throw myself, and my family into include, but are not limited to:
-
local goverment issue meetings
-
heading up the neighborhood watch program, in my neighborhood
-
baseball coach for South Sound Baseball, since 2006
-
regularly volunteering at my children's schools
-
The Annual Military Family Support March
-
Adopt-a-Street cleanup program
-
Thurston County Third Grade Poster & Essay Contest
-
volunteering to plant trees in Olympia
-
Thurston County Realtors Association Community Service Committee
